Meemya remained under the bed, thinking. Arthur looked very proud of himself, and Raven and he shared a warm cuddly embrace.

Raven held out her front paw for Halo to join the hug.

*He squaked happily and ran into the hug.*

Both Arthur and Raven kissed his cheeks on either side.

Raven giggled a bit at his react, and gave him another kiss, while Arthur wrapped his coils around all three of them.

Meemya smiled, and laid back in the bed, sighing.

*Halo ruffled his feathers as he pulled his face back out again.*

Halo: I’m sure that Maud will gladly accept the title “Aunty Maud”!

Raven shrugged, still unsure. Arthur decided to just get her, and began to move towards the door.

Arthur reared up, and opened the door, going downstairs quickly.

*Maud was downstairs, talking to Tristam…*

Tristam: Whoa there tiger! You’re already walkin’ down stairs!

Arthur rolled his eyes, and said, “Not walking, slithering.” He then slithered up to Maud, tugging on a paw and pointing upstairs to Meemya’s location urgently.

Maud: Oh goodness…

*Maud walks upstairs and opens the door.*

Maud: Yes?

Meemya’s eyes shot open, the markings and blush turning bright. He quickly scrambled to hide under the bed, whimpering. “Please don’t hurt me! I’m sorry!” He whimpered.

Maud: Why the heck would I hurt you?

*Halo squaked at her.*

Maud: Yes, hello Halo.

"Wh-What Halo said about you not wanting children, and mine calling you ‘Mommy’." Meemya whimpered, so upset his glow could be distinguished against the normal light of the room out from under the bed.

Halo: I said that she’d be okay with adopting! AND I also said that she’d be okay with being an aunt!

Maud: That’s right; I’d rather be called “Aunty Maud”. It even has a nice sound to it.

*She giggled at herself.*

[i-darkstar-x]

Meemya didn’t respond. “I thought it was because it implied she and I…” His voice trailed off, the glow brightening.

Maud: Were both in the presence of their eggs hatching? No, I’m technically their aunt.

Meemya remained quiet, but the glow began to subside. Slowly.
