Maud: Nope… I didn’t say that right…
*Maud chuckles and flips a couple pages.*
Meemya begins to roll around, wagging his tail. “Nmm nmm nmm.” He nommed.
Maud: I never thought that a pony would have interest in playing in such a way that a cat would.
Meemya snapped out of it again, quickly standing up, a bit red in face, his paint glowing equally bright. “S-Sorry, I can’t help it.” He apologized again, looking embarrassed.
Maud: Oh it’s fine; it’s interesting, in fact!
"I-It is?" Meemya asked, brightening up a little.
Maud: Yeah! I like things that are different…
Meemya seemed to lock up for a split second, but only for that brief amount of time. “O-Oh, well, I wish everyone else was so kind. They call me nasty names when I do that…” He said, wrapping his tail around his hooves.
Maud: Yeah, I understand. People are weird like that; different is like a stripe of paint on a blank canvas.
Meemya looked at the bright green paint marks that were on his body. “I agree.” He said, smiling at her.
*She smiled back and looked back at the book.*
Maud: Dang, I was so different, that some people were even afraid of me… two people, I think.
"Only two?" Meemya asked.
Maud: Well actually they were tge only ones enthusiastic about it; everyone was probably scared at some point… Yeah a lot of people got nervous.
*She chuckled.*
“Ah, I only knew one pony who didn’t avoid me, or call me names. She did yell a lot when it was time for me to nest, but she made up for it by smiling a lot.” Meemya said.
