asked:
(( I believe mine. We had just timeskipped to reaching Greenpoint.)) "There it is, Greenpoint." Meemya said, looking glumly at the large city. It was a very large circular city, surrounded by mountains on one side, and a forest on the other. However, what stood out the most was the huge, ugly, rundown, metal tower that rose up from the center of the city, taller than any of the other buildings. It looked so out of place in the soft curves and warm colors of the rest of the city.

Maud: Yikes… That thing does not look pleasant…

Meemya nodded in agreement. “It was originally an Orbit Cannon the government never launched. They couldn’t move it or take it down because of the way it was built, so they just left it, made it into a giant power plant.” Meemya explained, glancing at the strange glow just above where the top of the tower vanished into the clouds.

Maud: Huh… it doesn’t look nature-friendly if you asked me…

*She landed right outside of the city.*

A large 30 ft high wall surrounded the city, made of dark gray metal. “The wildlife are rather… Violent. Some blame the Greenpoint Tower for that.” Meemya explained, glancing up at the huge unsightly thing. “The wall is just to keep wildlife out though. It’s not patrolled or anything, so we can just hop over

Maud: Oh I see…

*She quickly flies over it and gently lands on the other side.*

Maud: I bet that the tower might be releasing some kind of chemical…

i-darkstar-x

"Chemical, or radiation." Meemya said. "Doesn’t seem to affect ponies, or any sapient organisms, with a few exceptions." The inside looked much more familiar, as everything was organized by circular sections.

Maud: Interesting…

*She opened the cage and took him out.*

Maud: You wanna be back to normal now, right?

i-darkstar-x

Meemya nodded, “Y-Yes please, if you can.” He said with a shiver. Being rather North, Greenpoint was often a bit cold.

*Maud said something in another language, and he was turned back into a pony.*

Maud: Thank goodness I didn’t screw up.

i-darkstar-x

Meemya looked at his hooves, seeing the familiar stripes of lime paint. He then checked himself all over, and nodded. “Thanks.” He said, smiling at Maud.

Maud: No problem! Okay… so now we just have to find that place…

i-darkstar-x

Meemya looked around, and said. “Right. I remember it was an alleyway behind a bar, with pipes extending from the side of the building in the alley. I remember that the pipes were always warm, so I slept there.” He glanced at a lamppost, which had a black bulb-camera on top. “Don’t look directly at the cameras, they can scan your irises.” Meemya warned.

Maud: Okay… thanks… Do you remember the way?

“I think. There was a bright yellow residential complex nearby.” Meemya said, glancing up every now and then, looking for a sign of blatant yellow. “I remember this one elderly couple who fed me every morning when I went looking for food.”
