Maud: Huh? How come?

Meemya shrugged. “Fear, mostly.”

Maud: I see… Let’s see if we can find someone!

Meemya looked out at the street, and saw three ponies on their side of the sidewalk alone, all looking grim. One or two had foals with them, who looked happy and playful, oddly.

Maud: Hmm…

*She looks at them for a moment…*

Maud: I wonder if it’s the air…

"What is?" Meemya asked, looked back to Maud, his body seeming ever so slightly cringe as another pony walked past.

Maud: I’m not sure… a lot of them around here seem suspicious…

"How so?" Meemya asked, glancing behind him at the various walking ponies.

Maud: I don’t know… I can just tell…

Meemya nodded, scooting away from the sidewalk and cowering, then just hiding behind Maud shivering when another walked past.

*She looked at all of them…*

Maud: Green, green, green, green, green…

"What about green?" Meemya asked, holding the pet carrier closer. Arthur seemed confused at his parent’s reaction, but warbled gibberish in an effort to comfort him.

Maud: Just checking their auras… so far they’re normal!

"Aura?" Meemya asked, looking at himself, only the green paint marks and his coat greeting him.

Maud: It’s a long story.
