*Maud chuckled and the lizard spoke to her, its mouth silently flapping.*

Meemya remained quiet, waiting,

*The lizard kept talking to her…*

Maud: Huh…

Meemya glanced at the storage room, watching for when Undi returned.

Maud: I wonder if she knows where they are…

"Probably not." Meemya sighed.

*She whispered to him.*

Maud: As soon as we leave I’m gonna check the mice for anything… unnatural…

"OK." Meemya said. A loud crash from the storage room was heard, followed by a string of vulgar curses.

Maud: Yeah she most assuredly doesn’t work here.

After another minute, Undi returned with a shoe-box sized device. She also had a black eye, three lacerations on her right hoof, and her nose was bleeding. “Here you go.” She said, smiling, then wincing in pain.

Maud: Oh uhhh… thanks… are you gonna be okay? What happened back there?

“It’s fine.” She said, then handed the container to Maud. “Have a nice day.” She said, smiling again.
