*Maud smiled at them, and the stranger just kinda peeked out from behind her.*
Meemya’s back was to the egg, but it began to pulse its glow, as did Meemya’s markings. Arthur giggled as the glow flashed on and off, his own markings doing the same, but dimmer.
Maud: Meemya! It’s hatching!
*The stranger looked at the egg, curious but still shy…*
Meemya spun around to face it, and reached out to gently cradle it. Arthur also looked excited, slithering up Meemya’s hoof to look.
*Maud smiled at them both, happy to help.*
As soon as Memeya’s hoof made contact, it began to make small cracking noises as it jostled. Meemya’s eyes widened, holding the egg in front of him, watching the pieces slide back to reveal a glowing golden sphere for a few seconds before the pieces began to whirl around the golden sphere, creating a body shape slowly.
*The stranger was in complete shock, his jaw dropped slightly and his white pupils a bit larger.*
The body began to shape into a feminine equine shape, large wings sprouting. The muzzle also changed shape, as dis the forelegs. The tail also spread outward, firing a fan-like shape.
Maud: So it DID determine the appearance…
???: Oh my gosh…
Meemy held out his hooves under it as she grew features. Her coat was a dark blue. Not as dark as Meemya’s though. She had light blue eyes, and her mane and feather tips were bright orange. She too also had the same bright green markings as Meemya and Arthur. Oddly, her muzzle was actually a beak, and her fore legs more similar to a bird’s talons.
Maud: A hippogriff!
*The stranger stared in wonder at tge creature…*
She sat up in Meemya’s hooves, looking up at the faces around her. Arthur tightly hugged her, making her give a small squeak before recognizing him as her brother (somehow) and hugging back.
