*Maud smiled at them, and the stranger just kinda peeked out from behind her.*
*Halo looks at Meemya with curiosity.*
Halo: Sir? What’s the matter?
Meemya couldn’t understand him, and kept sniffling. Arthur sighed, and turned back to Raven. “Daddy needs Mommy.” He said.
Halo: Where is she?
"Downstairs. You called her Maud." Raven said to Halo. Arthur looked confused, but didn’t question it.
Halo: What?! Maud a mother? I doubt that! She always said that she didn’t want kids, but if she were than she’d rather adopt. Besides, you don’t look anything like her!
Neither Arthur or Raven said a thing, completely speechless.
Halo: … I shouldn’t have said that… I should not have said that…
"M-Mommy doesn’t want us..?" Arthur said in a small voice, more as as statement to himself.
Halo: What? Of course she does! She ALSO said that if she ever decided to have kids, she’d adopt! Besides, she’s always wanted to at least be an aunt!
Both Raven and Arthur still said nothing after Raven translated for Arthur, deep in thought. Meemya poked his head out from under the blanket, his eyes red and puffy.
Halo: What’s the matter, sir?
“What’s wrong Daddy?” Raven echoed. Meemya sniffled, and shook his head. “Nothing, Daddy just… Had a bit of a breakdown…”
