*Maud scurries out of the room, closing the door behind her.*

Meemya gulped, thinking she was upset. He held Opal close, looking down at the floor. Arthur and Raven looked confused at Maud’s sudden disappearance, and more so at Opal’s rapid aging.

Halo: … She does that when she has a really good idea.

"What do you think it is?" Raven asked.

Halo: Pffft I have no idea!

"Hopefully Daddy doesn’t start crying again." Arthur said, looking at Meemya with a worried look. Meemya was still hugging Opal, who instead of feeling discomfort, she looked all to happy to stand there untill then sun went out and the moon went dark.

*Halo sighed and patted Arthur on the head.*

Halo: I dunno buddy.

Arthur grabbed his hand, coiling his snake half around his wrist to balance.

*Halo chuckled and tried to help him balance.*

Arthur nodded in thanks, then lay down in his palm.

*Using his other hand, Halo gently strokes Arthur’s mane.*

Arthur smiled, relaxing on his front, “You’re really good.” Arthur murred.
