*She flew a little lower to get a closer look…*
As she neared, the smoke seemed to clear, as if there was a bubble blocking the smoke. The air tasted stale, and probably unhealthy. Lying in the depleted uranium casings was bits of an egg shell, belonging to one of Meemya’s eggs.
Maud: Oh god no!
*She sighed in defeat… but wondered…*
Maud: Can it hatch without her making contact to it?
A growling noise from directly behind her was heard just before something slightly bigger than Meemya when he was a stallion landed on her back, sharp teeth clamping down on the back of her neck, painfully pressing the scales in, even cracking a few near the premolars.
*Maud roared in pain!*
Maud: BUGGER OFF!!!
((Did I ever mention that Maud is a black belt in Taekwon-do?))
*She twirls around upside down, trying to shake it off as the spheres from her tail rose up a bit… Maud suddenly transformed… her skales stayed dark, but her eyes went red… her hair went white… the ring around her tail turned into barbed wire… and the spheres turned into black, spiked spheres! The spheres flew abd slammed into the creature, attempting to wound it. Maud tries to kick and scratch at it!*
It takes every blow, being launched off against the debris, hitting the casing with a loud crack, then falling over behind it out of sight, not moving.
*Maud growled in pain, looking at the place where it had fallen…*
Maud: What in the world was that thing…
*She slowly flies over to see what it was…*
It looked like a Pegasus, but it had four wings, both dragon-like. It had pointed ears, and a two long scalene tails. It had fins on the backs of its hooves, and two swept-back scaled horns.
Maud: Interesting…
*Fascinated and curious, she used her magic to pull it out of the debris.*
The magic doesn’t seem to form correctly around it, nullifying the aura.
