*She slowly lowered it to the ground.*

It’s eyes open, nearly identical to Meemya’s, but slit-pupil.

*She looks at it, knowing that it could do little to no harm due to its injuries.*

It looks up at her, and says in a young-sounding voice, “Go on. Kill me. You beat me, weakness is culled.”

Maud: Why did you attack me?

[i-darkstar-x]

The creature didn’t answer, looking away, at the egg shells. “Why do you care? Just please kill me.”

Maud: Why?

[i-darkstar-x]

"Weakness must be culled!" It replies bitterly, looking close to tears.

Maud: No, it should be assisted. But then again, you attacked me. Why?

"Hunger." It answered. "I haven’t eaten in days. I’ve been forced to drink my own blood for twice as long."

Maud: That’s awful! Shall I take you home? I’ll feed you!

"No!" It said. "I am weak, I don’t deserve to live."

Maud: Nonsense, I WANT to assist!

It didn’t answer right away. “I don’t care what you do, just do it quickly.” It said, closing its eyes.

*She quickly teleports both of them into her Magic Room.*

Maud: Welcome!

It just curls up in a ball like a hedgehog.

Maud: Do you want anything in particular to eat?
