“It’ll go away I promise. I was just a bit startled by the hug…and the nuzzling.”
“My apologies, I’ll refrain from doing so in the future.” He said, looking down at his hooves.
“N-no!” She said before blushing more, “I-i mean…it’s alright.”
Wind nodded, perking up a little. His tail began to wag again.
“Your tail. It’s wagging.”
Wind looked at it, and narrowed his eyes, he attempted to grab it, but missed,milling off the couch. “Eep!”
“Whoa!” She said trying to grab him to no avail, “Are you alright ?
“Yes.” He said, then got up. His tail was still wagging.
“Is your tail wagging because you’re excited about something?”
He looked away at it, and it stopped. “I’m not sure.” He said, looking back at her. It then began to wag once more.
“Wait…Look away from me again.” She said watching his tail.
He did, and it stopped. He then narrowed his eyes at it, and began running a round in circles on the spot, trying to catch his tail.
She looked at him and tried really hard not to laugh.
He eventually stopped, rolling up like a pillbug on his back and grabbing near the base of his tail with his teeth. He made a triumphant noise at his accomplishment.
She snickered a tiny bit but clapped, “Good job Wind.”
He looked at her and smiled, still holding his tail. “‘ank ‘ou.” He said through his teeth.
“Well I think I know why your tail is wagging.” She said giggling.
Wind tilted his head curiously, suddenly squeaking in pain at the unintentional tail pull, and popping back out flat. “What do you think it is?” Wind asked.
