“I think it’s me.” She said, “Whenever you look away from me your tail stops wagging, but when you look back it starts again.”

Wind nodded. “That sounds about right. Probably caused by the disguising matrix mimicking the life-processes of the copied organism.” He said, sitting up.

“Oh. So you like me then.~” She said giggling.

Wind nodded. “Yes I do.” He said, again not getting what she actually ment by “like”.

“Wind honey. I meant like as in, ‘More than just a friend.’” She said giggling again.

“I suppose so, yes.” Wind said, tilting his head. He considered scanning her to see if something was different.

“Ooo. That’s a bold statement there.” She said sitting up on the couch. She appeared normal in the scan.

“It is?” Wind said, looking surprised.

“No. Not really. I’m just joking around.” She said getting up and kissing his cheek, “I just haven’t had anyone say they’ve liked me in a while.” She said turning heading to the steps.

Wind stood up and followed her. “Then that’s their loss.” He said, smiling.

She smiled heading up the steps and into her room.
