*Mezra lightly smacked Soarik's cheek a few times.* "Come on, wake up." *he said, relieved Soarik was alive.*

*Mezra smiled at him, and lifted Soarik up into his hooves.* "Come on, let's get you washed up. I have guests coming over for dinner."

*Mezra seemed startled, but embraced him as well, carrying him inside and to his bedroom.* "Shh, I'm here. Everything is fine now, you can tell me what happened." *He comforted in a soft voice, gently rocking him in his hooves.*

"Do you know what happened to poor little Likikia? It will help me fix her." *Mezra said softly.*

*Mezra kept petting his tangled mane.* "Tell you what, how about you take a nice warm bath to loosen all this goop up, and then I'll come up remove it when I'm done Likikia."

*Mezra smiled, then carried Soarik into the master bathroom, and turned on the tub's warm water.* "It takes a second or two to heat up." *Mezra said, smiling at Soarik.*

*Mezra set Soarik in the tub once it was warm enough, and screwed in the drain blocker so that it would fill.* "Relax." *Mezra said with a smile, brushing his hoof along Soarik's cheek before walking out.*

*the tub fills slowly but smoothly with soothingly warm water. The goop seems to dissolve as it gets wet. Other than the rush of water and the occasional clink noise from somewhere above and behind him, all is quiet.*

*the clinking noise gets closer, before a small metal sphere drops down, disappearing down Soarik's throat quickly.*

*A few minutes me later, Mezra walked back in, Likikia fully repaired and perched on his shoulder.* "You okay Soarik?" *he asked*

*Mezra smiled, and placed Likikia on his shoulder. He then sat back and leaned against the wall, snoozing. Likikia nuzzled Soarik's neck, softly purring his name over and over.*
