Fall, an interesting season, to say the least. The leaves shed off all the deciduous trees, leaving them skeletal and bare. The city of Greenpoint had only a few trees, but those few dropped their leaves quickly. Though the Greenpoint Tower rose unsightly and ugly as usual from the precise center of the city, the citizens appeared in high spirits.
