Hopefully one day people realize fish feel pain, too!
They may feel pain yes, but their brains are not complex enough to fully process it. It’s like a room a bumping into something, it’s just a collie soon detection system. In the case of animals, it’s a more urgent signal: a warning of physical harm in that direction; change course and avoid.
