And then stop everything and build an actual ocean observatory IN the ocean for pete’s sake. If we can build a space station, (granted we do absolutely BUGGER ALL with it…) we can build an aquarium in the ocean where, you know, all the fishes are! Some people are just so lazy they have to make the ocean come to them.
