The third of the Stellaian’s Remnats, the Tinkatennadossarye, or just Tinkatenna, are very mysterious organisms. They are the most unique of the Remnants, as they are a functioning species. To this date, they are the only fully Stellaian creation, with the Testers being a close second. Though they have their own life cycle and such, they refer to Stellaians (and Stellas) as ‘Füszær’, which translates to ‘Father’. In addition, they respect Stellaians as a literal father figure, which is quite endearing. In appearance, Tinkatenna are a bipedal mammalian organism with a paw shape for its hands and feet, with the feet-paws being somewhat larger and sturdier, while the hand-paws are more lithe and nimble, for ease of object manipulation. Their body is covered in a short fur, ranging over many shades and combinations per the individual. They have large expressive eyes, and equally large and expressive ears capable of picking up sounds on frequencies even most machines can’t pick up. Their eyes have a similar ability, letting them see perfectly in total darkness and blinding light. They can even see many types of radiation, from as low as radio to as high as gamma. (Yes, that means they do have X-Ray vision.) The males and females of similar body changes like Stellaians, being that the males have bat-like wings, while females have more feathery wings. Males often have sharper teeth too, but both have fangs and a furry prehensile tail. Both also have a fin-sail thing going down the length of their spine, getting shorter near the base of the tail. The fin-sail does continue along their tail, but it does not flare or fold. Speaking of which, the fin-sail does flare up when their wings are closed, but folds down when their wings are open. The membrane of the sail is often a different color to their fur. Their lungs have a layer of mucus that allows them to breathe water. It also acts much like a camal’s hump, storing water until the Tinkatenna is thirsty, or a fellow Tinkatenna requires hydration and has depleted their own water storage. It should be noted that having two lungs of water on the same side can make them imbalanced. On the subject of internal organs, they do possess two six-chambered hearts, and four lungs, as well as a Nexus Relay, etc.. Their brain is a standard shape however.
Tinkatennadossarye’s physical appearance is generally left unseen, thanks in part to the suit each wears. A somewhat industrial/mechanized/bulky appearance, the suits were originally nothing more than spacesuits. But once Tinkatenna started to mess around with them to create newer and better designs, each was given a suit upon maturation, which would then become the next base deign until the new generation couldn’t think of anything to add, change, or remove. This became the Soothisadrenookoomawe, very often shortened to ‘SoothSuit’. The suit allows the Tinkatenna to leap great distances, move quicker, communicate soundlessly with other Tinkatenna, breathe safely in a variety of noxious environments, and see even better than they do normally. Oddly though, they seem to have developed an actual attachment to the SoothSuit they live in, as if it was actually their skin. Tapping on the lenses of the helmet is the same as poking them in the eye. At least, it’s the same response. Pinching, hitting, or biting the solid metal armor elicits pain from the occupant. This odd reaction pattern seems to go away however when the Tinkatenna is focused, angry, or some combination of the two. (It should be noted that stimuli that would normally be blocked if faced head-on have effect if the Tinkatenna is unaware of it until it occurs.)
Tinkatennadossarye’s initial sole purpose was one of exploration; To be mere living probes, sent down to a planet where they would run around and look at everything. They were to be given an overpowering sense of curiosity, but they kept, er, well, 'disassembling’ themselves. A sense of reason was added, which yielded better results. If by better you mean reasoning that curiosity was pointless, and again dissembling themselves… In short, they went through numerous iterations before it was decided to just create a fully intelligent life form. The results were much better after that. Instead of ignoring a fellow Tinkatenna hanging perilously on the edge of a cliff, they would assist and stay by each other, often congregating and cooperating, forming a sort of 'squad’ that collaborated to overcome obstacles. Needless to say, this was quite excellent. But as the Tinkatenna number grew, it became an issue wether or not they should still be used in the way they were. Eventually, it was decided to nurture the life we had created.
To assist the Tinkatennadossarye in their natural progression, they were given a simple sexual reproduction system, (male and female) and allowed to procreate. Their 'homeworld’ was the larger of Nexus XIX’s two moons. They called their planet 'Sindiction’, which meant literally 'Gift World’. There, they thrived and developed their own culture, language, the SoothSuit eventually, and various other unique technologies. I myself often visited for Möko, which is an absolutely delectable fruity-tasting drink served hot and made from the seeds of a sickle-shaped grain-based plant of the same name. (Though wether or not they just so happened give the plant the same name as my wife by mere coincidence is hard to believe.)
Following the collapse of the Stellaian race, I allowed the Tinkatennadossarye to believe that I too had fallen along with the others of my species. They mourned a great deal, but remained unified. When last I checked up on them before returning to Earth, they had formed a massive space-military, and fiercely defended the ruined Nexus Worlds from other species. I have yet to return to see what has become of them after two trillion years atoning for my involvement in the Machine Race’s near-extinction.
