Reasons. He was carrying a cardboard box a little bigger than a shoebox. Whatever labels it had had been surgically cut out. And by surgically, I mean Kadius had sixteen bandaids on his right hoof. He wasn't limping though, and just kept walking along the road, mumbling something to himself.

As he passed, he did a double take. He had seen snakes, he had seen changelings, he had even seen one or two snakeponies, but he had never seen anything like her before. He gulped, and looked left and right down the road. Thankfully, it was clear. “Um, ahem, excuse me?” He asked, approaching cautiously.
