“Hey stranger, how are you?” I smiled softly at you.
Austin looked confused. “Me?” He asked, shocked anyone was paying attention to him. His eyes were a light blue color, similar to the sky. His coat was a grayish-brown color, which contrasted with his pure white mane and tail, which had a streak of lemon yellow in it.
“Yeah, don’t you recognize me?” I smiled as I folded my wings down
Austin shook his head slowly. “Noooo…” He said, just as slowly.
“Austin it’s Kaylyn…” I felt my wings drop as I lowered my head
Austin blinked a few more times. “Um… I just moved here, so…” He said, an eyebrow raised.
I blushed and nodded. “Sorry to have bugged you. I hope you enjoy ponyville” I flew ofd
Austin watched her fly away, curious. He tapped his chin, and tapped the face of his watch three times. A small black ball rolled down his light gray hoodie’s sleeve, and bounced off and away in the same direction as the mare had flown. He smiled to himself, and continued walking to his home, carrying the three full bag of groceries with one hoof, while his other hoof fiddled with something in his pocket.
I landed at my home and sighed. I let myself in. “I’m an idiot”
The ping-pong ball-sized ball rolled up to the doorstep with a light clink, and stayed there, as if it was hiding.
I went inside to get some water and to check on my garden
The ball began to roll up the step, making its way to the roof.
I took care of my garden then rested under the tree. I laid down and sighed. “Guess I’ll be alone for a long time.”
Austin was watching via a small camera and mic on the ball. He was racking his brains, trying to recall memories of her.
I got up and walked over to a small rose bush. “Shame he doesn’t remember giving me a flower and making me smile after I was upset
Austin furrowed his brow. A flower? When did this happen? He growled at himself, rubbing his forehead, trying to remember.
