He nodded. “A little birdie told me you lost your best friend as a foal.” He said.

I nodded. “Yeah I was picked on because I didn’t have my cutie mark yet. I was the last one of the class to get it.”

He pointed to his own blank flank. “I lost all my memory when I was eight, but I’m fairly certain Cutie Marks aren’t client side.” He joked.

He shrugged. “I don’t know. The point is though that I’m sorry for not remembering you.” He gently took your hoof in his.“ Maybe we can start over?”

“Oh alright.” I blushed. “My name is Kaylyn.”

“I’m Austin Berne, a pleasure to meet you Kaylyn.” He said, smiling at her,

“Would you like some tea?” I asked
