*Rain was one of the may ponies at the station* another bad day *sigh*
Ferriah was standing on the station platform, waiting for the passenger cares to finish emptying so the train could pull up to allow her and her team access to the cargo section. There were some important parts and components that needed to be unloaded quickly, lest the Greenpoint tower get any uglier, which is saying a lot. She wore the standard Tower maintenance uniform. A drab gray with softly glowing bright green luminescent strips. They automatically changed brightness in varying light levels, so she did not need to hold a light herself. The uniform had dark green accenting, though it was barely noticeable unless one was up close. She was an earth pony, with a purple gray coat, jolting yellow eyes and smooth wavy soft orange mane and tail with small coal black streaks. She huffed to herself
*he was waitng there to see on old freind that never ended up coming so he sat on a bench feeling sad*
Once the passengers were all off, the platform was mainly empty, save for the group of size, including Ferriah. All had the same uniform, of course. The train moved forward more, showing the neatly stacked boxes. At once, Ferriah and the other ponies began to get to work, systematically unloading the metal crates. They didn’t seem to have noticed Rain was still there.
*he just sighed and watched them unload the boxes, thinking of why his friend didnt come*
Ferriah was counting the boxes when’s he spotted him. Confused, she trot over, and cleared her throat. “Ahem, civilian, is something the matter?” She asked, rather untactfully.
yeah im fine…
“Right…” She said, not convinced. “Well it’d probably be better to wait inside the station. It’s air conditioned.” She said, smiling at him.
im fine really i just… why didnt they come?
She looked shocked. “How… How did you know about that?” He said, her voice quieter. She looked spooked, and very nervous.
huh? i was talking about my friend
“Oh.” She said, then breathed a sigh of relief. “That’s a relief.” She said, smiling. She realized how insensitive that sounded and her smile went away. “O-Oh, Er. I’m sorry your friend stood you up.”
*sigh* well i guess im gonna spend the next month alone * he slowly stood up*
She bit her lip, feeling a pang of sympathy. She knew how horrible it was to be alone. Without thinking, she said, “Wait!” She gulped, and stepped forward, blushing a little as she sad softly, “I-I can keep you company.”
