…..Does he actually do any science, or just shitpost out his ass on Twitter?
His day job is being the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York City.
He also occasionally does TV shows like Cosmos and he runs the StarTalk late night show (or he did in 2015).
I’m don’t believe he is currently in any research positions, and his role seems to be mostly teaching, like Bill Nye.
So he’s mostly teaching and being a celebrity, then. And Bill Nye isn’t a scientist, btw, he’s an engineer by education.
