Funny thing about that actually. Most of my work, from then until now, has taken about the same amount of time. The only bearing in the past would be photoshop on my old computer, in which I would get to…maybe like….30 or 40 layers and then it would get to a point where I had to draw a line….wait 30 seconds for that to pop up…..draw another line….wait again. So that might have added to creation time a bit.
Other than that yeh, it was mostly learning to do more stuff in the same amount of time as before as my drawing improved. I will note though, when I discovered Sai’s stabalizer is when things really took off for me. There are tons of people like me with unsteady hands and when you draw on a tablet there is no “drag” like when you draw on a peice of paper with a pencil. The stabalizer creates the exact same effect I had back when I used to press super hard when writing or drawing on paper to steady my hand. I still even have the hardened blister like bump on my finger where the pencil sat to prove it!
