So, as some of you may know so have I been having less of a good time in life as of late but I’m trying to keep myself on my feet but things are sure making it hard as a few days ago, after me house and pet sitting for my parents for 3 weeks so did the cat I grew up with pass away just two days after they got back home.
Curry was a nice cat, he’s the most patient and understanding cat I’ve come across as he was okay with kids holding him and everything else even though he wasn’t the most affectionate one! He did however enjoy jumping up on you if you’re laying down for scratchies under the chin and if you moved too much then he’d just lay down nearby instead.
Due to circumstances so did we have to take in another cat into the household, a muuuuch younger one that sadly played a bit too rough and would try to establish dominance frequently, turning Curry very grumpy and way more reserved about his personal space as it was intruded upon so frequently by the other cat for months (Which we very much didn’t want there.)
Whenever we let him out so did he start to go away for 6-10 hours instead of his avarage 2-6 hours as he wasn’t happy I’m the house anymore and this is very much what pains me the most as he obviously wasn’t happy in the house anymore due to the other cat.
When my parents got back home so did he disappear over a night, he’d done this before as of late as he was happier outside but when he wasn’t coming in the following morning so did we figure something was wrong and after a lot of searching so did we find him under the porch, ice cold from the chest down and he had no control over his hind legs, he was taken to the vet right away as I was left to look for the other cat who’d manage to run away in the middle of the chaos (Not an outdoor cat) which took me over an hour of running around and riding my brother’s bike which was waaay to small.
I tried to call my mom to hear how it was going but I was just told to hold and once they made it home so was I greeted by Curry, sleeping forever more in his favorite basket, he’d gotten some form of aneurism or blood clot while he was out and we found him too late.
Rest In Peace Curry, you were faithful and never caused trouble in your 15 years with us, wish your end would have been one you deserved and not one where you were constantly bullied around by another cat.
You will be missed.
