I don’t know if this is gonna be a real thing or not, but I loathe it when I see anti-brony stuff such as this floating around the internet. Is it because I blindly love the fandom and feel like we’re persecuted in the same way that gay people are? Of course not; I’m sane. But even so, stuff like this stirs up hatred towards an entire group for unfair reasons.
Now, I have to admit that I haven’t heard anything about the molestation they refer to, or about anyone taking large sums of money from charities and blowing it all on MLP stuff. I’ve been busy with IRL stuff. If all of that is true, then that’s horrible and the individuals involved deserve hatred. The individuals. Not the entire community.
But that would be a rational reaction. After all, when has it ever been right to judge an entire community based on the actions of it’s worst members? But that’s what’s going on here. I mean, look at what they’re calling ALL of us here: charity thieves, homicidal, an infection, CHILD MOLESTERS… They’re saying that we’ve led our “unholy actions into the real world” (unholy actions such as wearing t-shirts for the show we like), and that we’ve assaulted homes? I mean, that’s some serious stuff to call an entire group of people.
Look, I’m not going to defend those bronies who truly are terrible. Those who DO act out of line, send death threats, spam websites, act poorly towards women, or do the things described here in this image. But it’s unfair to judge all of us because of those bronies. Judge those individual people for those actions. If you truly think you’re better than those individuals, give everyone a chance to prove that they’re a decent human being before you decide to hate them just because they’re in a certain fandom.)
Since when does anonymous give a shit about what fandoms do? These twits are probably just using anonymous as a scapegoat name or some shit like that.
(Yeah, as I said I have my doubts that this is even gonna be a real thing. It’s just that I keep seeing post after post about how horrible bronies are in general. And it’s grated on my nerves for a while now because, as a principal, I allow people to show me who they are as an individual before I form any opinions, good or bad, about them. Since this was the most most insidious post I’ve personally seen to date, I had to say something.)

Seriously though, this is probably some thought out bs and we should not even worry. On the other hand, people that will read this and probably take it seriously might actually try to raid brony websites and shiz, I gotta say I’m interested as to what is going to happen.
Alright, I’ve been seeing this all around Tumblr today, so I’ll give my thoughts and opinions, for those who want it. First off this is more likely than not bull crap. Those who think this is a legit threat, if there are any, are either new to the internet, or stupid. The fact that someone took time out of their day to make this as an attempt to evoke fear in a fandom, just.. I have no words to describe how disgusted I am. But the child molestation claims and so on, even if legit, are no reason to hate on an entire fandom of amazing, wonderful people. Hate on those specific people. I know a lot of this has been said already, but this is soo stupid it needs to repeated to show how stupid it is.
So for those of you who think that this is a legitimate threat, then stop, it’s most likely not. Go on with your life of cartoon horses and friendship. C:
