p.s. the whole left brain/right brain thing is a myth which i am shamelessly spreading to convey a dumb joke on the internet. this comic is inaccurate.
The different halves do take care of different things, but they both can function on their own, as the differences are minor.
Philosophically, they are depicted as being separate halves with different world views, but this is indeed not the case in reality, it’s just a metaphor.
